Greetings PGA DFS players. The past two weeks have been awesome to have PGA Golf available to watch and predict.
This is another tournament that the high priced Golfers are not poised to do well. The majority of the issue is lack of tournament experience at the venue.
Below are the Golfers I like for this tournament.
In the high priced range, I like the following golfers:
Brooks Koepka at $10,000 is the must-play of the week. He has gotten over the COVID-19 break rust. He had a nice finish at the RBC Heritage and should be ready to win a tournament and most likely it will be this one. He has decent experience at the course, not great but good. OUT
Rory McIlroy at $11,200 has solid experience at this tournament. I think he is expensive but he can win this tournament.
Bryson DeChambeau at $11,000 is a solid performer at this tournament. Normally, he would be my number one to win the tournament. I think he is a top 20 at this point. The main issue, he has too much weight on board and cannot keep the ball in the fairway. He easily could have won the last two tournaments if he could have been accurate.
In the Mid Range (9k to 8k):
Patrick Cantlay at $9,800 has ample experience and plays well in this tournament in the past few years.
Abraham Ancer at $9,000 is exactly the same as Patrick Cantlay. He has ample experience and plays well consistently over the past few years.
Paul Casey at $8,900 is a stud for this tournament. He is making cuts, he is in the top half of the field consistently, and he plays this tournament well. Most likely he is the top performer for this course and tournament.
Sergio Garcia at $8,500 has little to no experience that I could find in this tournament. He is another player that is streaky when he plays well. He had a really nice finish at RBC Heritage and is poised to continue that in this tournament.
In the Low Range (7k and below):
Joaquin Niemann at $7,900 is a must-have. He is playing well and he has solid top experience at this course and tournament.
Viktor Hovland at $7,800 is playing hot lately. Little to no experience at the course thou.
Jason Day at $7,500 is recovering from back surgery in March, plus the COVID-19 break rust. He is not playing well at the moment and is why he has a cheap price. I love this play, for this tournament. He plays this tournament and course well and normally he would be in the 10k range. It is a risky move but it has a high reward.
Ryan Palmer $7,300, Harold Varner III $7,100, Dylan Frittelli $7,100 are options, not great options but viable.
Steward Cink at $6,600 should be on your team. He is a cheap option who plays this tournament often and often does well.
All prices for the players are Draft Kings.
I hope this help you all and lets have a great PGA DFS experience.
