PGA DFS Preview Workday Open

OK, Fantasy Golf Peeps, we have back to back weeks with tournaments at Muirfield Village in Dublin Ohio or I just call it Jack Nicklaus’s course.

This is Week One, the Workday Open. From what I was looking at from the PGA Tour, seems both tournaments are going to use the same holes. The other thing to keep in mind is that the fairways are narrow and the rough is thick. So, if your golfer cannot keep the ball in the fairway, you want to leave him off our team.

What I am going to be using is info from next weeks tournament the Memorial as far as consistency on playing on the golf course.

As always, my info is for Draft Kings and all prices listed are current Draft King prices.

High Priced Golfers That I Like:

Patrick Cantlay at $10,400 and Hideki Matsuyama at $10,000 are course specialists. They are both must have’s. Both of these players will be in the top 5 or higher.

Mid Range Golfers That I Like:

Marc Leishman at $8,700 is a course specialist and should finish in the top 20 to the top 10 at this course.

Low Cost Golfers That I Like:

Kevin Streelman at $7,800 is a course specialist

Lanto Griffin at $7,400 is in the top 10 in Fedex standings. Worth the risk in this tournament format at the cost.

Jason Day at $7,700 is a quality players at a very cheap price.

Emiliano Grillo at $7,200 is a course specialist at a very cheap price.

You are going to need to carry on your team two $10k plus players because that is how this particular tournament is going to play out in my opinion. So you are going to have to take some risk on cheap players and hope they can get to the top 20.

I hope this helps, have fun, and enjoy the PGA Golf.
